250-grade mild steel plate made from low carbon steel is a medium-strength structural steel plate with 250 megapascals (MPa) yield strength. Mild steel plate – 250 grade can be used for various construction projects, including bridges and high-rise buildings. Coil Plate (Tru-Spec)
Tru-Spec® coil plates are available in various structural grades and are manufactured with guaranteed minimum strength levels and multiple weldabilities, formability and ductility levels. They are ideal for light structural members, brake press forming applications, light poles, trailer and automotive components, general fabrication and galvanising applications that can be cut to length. Floor Plate
Floor plates or tread plates have an elevated ‘tread’ pattern on one side. This pattern is usually a diamond or chequered design and provides a textured grip when used in a flooring application. Southern Steel QLD floor plates are ideal for building and construction applications such as stairs, catwalks and walkways. They meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 3678.

Boiler Plate
Southern Steel QLD boiler plate is a killed, fine-grained, thick carbon manganese steel sheet for boiler and pressure vessels with a guaranteed minimum tensile strength of 460MPa. Boilerplates are well suited to low and moderate temperatures, making them ideal for industrial boilers or other pressure vessels.
